Morgan Strebler Lecture Cancelled
It is with regret that we have to announce the cancellation of the Morgan Strebler Lecture which was due to take place on Monday 18th June at the Benton Conservative club.
We received the following message from Morgan:
"I have some bad news for all of my fans tonight. I write this with tears in my eyes. As many of you know my wife's mother passed about a month ago. My wife and I have been talking, and we both think it's best that I quit performing magic, and get a real job. When she passed we picked up some extra responsibilities. We took over Guardinship of her brother who is blind, and mentally challenged. While I was on the road her mom would watch our kids at night. Julie has a night job. Now I have to fill that spot and take care of her brother and be home for my children. I'm going to miss performing. The good new is the Friend thing was not in vein the TV show is still coming out as well as the webisode.
Please keep in touch. I love you all and thank you for supporting me"

Newcastle upon Tyne Magic Circle is one of the oldest and most successful magical societies in the country. It was founded on February 23 1933 as the Saville Magic Circle, taking its name from its first meeting place, the Saville Restaurant, in Saville Row, Newcastle.
Meetings are normally every 4th Monday of the month, except December. All meetings start at 7.30pm prompt.
